ALEXANDRAÂ KELSO Lecturer in Politics at the University of Southampton, UK. She is author of Parliamentary Reform at Westminster, of chapters in The Oxford Handbook of British Politics and Developments in British Politics 9 (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011), and is the principal investigator on an ESRC-funded research project running between 2010-2012 examining the House of Commons select committee system.
