About this book

This book examines the economic, political and institutional dimensions of pan-Asian integration. With little progress made in the Doha Round, there is heightened interest in deeper regional integration in Asia. The book explores regional patterns of trade and investment and the potential for deeper integration.

About the authors



JOSEPH FRANCOIS is professor at the Department of Economics, Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria, and the principal consultant for the study.
 
PRADUMNA B. RANA is Senior Fellow at Nanyang Technological Univeristy, Singapore.

GANESHAN WIGNARAJA is principal economist at the Office of Regional Economic Integration, Asian Development Bank, Manila, and the team leader of the study.
